Independent
No vendor relationships. No predetermined conclusions.

WorldSafe assessors have no stake in your technology decisions and no affiliation with security vendors or resellers. Findings reflect what is actually true about a vendor's capabilities.

Documented
Written findings. Verified standards.

Every certified vendor has a written assessment on file. The standard is published and applied consistently across all vendors regardless of size or market position.

Actionable
Evaluation starts at capability.

When you require WorldSafe Certified vendors, your team spends evaluation time on fit and capability rather than establishing whether a vendor meets a basic standard.

What it is

An independent standard
for vendor evaluation.

Most vendor evaluation begins with organizations asking vendors to self-report capabilities and review marketing materials. WorldSafe Certified gives organizations an independent view of vendor capabilities before that evaluation gets underway.

Vendors are assessed against a consistent standard by WorldSafe advisors who have no commercial relationship with the outcome. The result is a credential that carries independent weight.

For organizations, it means vendor capabilities have been independently reviewed. For vendors, it means entering an evaluation with credibility already established.

What this is not
WorldSafe Certified requires an independent assessment and can be declined. It is not a pay-to-play directory or a self-reported badge program.
For organizations
Require an independent standard across your vendor pool.

Require WorldSafe Certified status as a condition of vendor consideration. Your team evaluates capability, not basic credibility.

  • Independently validated vendor capabilities
  • Consistent assessment standard across all vendors
  • Supports more informed vendor evaluation
  • Searchable certified vendor directory
  • Ongoing certification status monitoring

  • Listed in the WorldSafe Certified directory
  • Certified badge for marketing and proposals
  • Annual recertification to maintain current status

How certification works

How vendors become certified.

1
Apply

Submit an application through worldsafe.co/certified. A WorldSafe advisor reviews your submission and confirms eligibility within three business days.

2
Assessment

WorldSafe conducts an independent review of your capabilities, documentation, references, and operational standards. The assessment is structured, consistent, and confidential.

3
Findings

You receive a written findings report. Certification is awarded based on the assessment results. Vendors who do not meet the standard receive a findings report with specific gaps identified.

4
Certified

Certified vendors are listed in the WorldSafe directory, receive certification documentation, and maintain status through annual recertification. Certification is valid for twelve months.

What certification means

A standard worth having.

Verified capabilities

Certified vendors have demonstrated their capabilities to an independent assessor. Not through marketing materials. Through a structured evaluation.

Independent assessment

WorldSafe has no commercial relationship with the vendors it certifies. The standard is applied consistently regardless of vendor size or market position.

Current status

Certification requires annual renewal. Organizations can confirm a vendor's certification status is current before any engagement begins.

Documented findings

Every certification is backed by a written assessment report. The credential has a paper trail. Procurement teams can request documentation to support their process.

Searchable directory

All certified vendors are listed in the WorldSafe directory, searchable by capability, geography, and industry specialization.

Revocable

Certification can be revoked if a vendor's capabilities or standards change materially. The directory reflects current status, not historical certification.

Clarity on the standard

What WorldSafe Certified is.
What it is not.

Independent certification programs only hold value when the standard is clear and consistently applied. WorldSafe Certified is an assessed credential. It cannot be purchased and it can be declined.

For organizations, that means the certified vendor network reflects genuine capability rather than marketing investment or vendor relationships.
